Description

1. INTRODUCTION Stone-Banach theorem for Non-Archimedean case was first studied by Beckenstein and Narici ([2]) and they have studied linear maps from C(X) to C(Y) with disjoint cozero set property in view of Automatic continuity problems. Later Araujo ([1]) made a study of these maps in his thesis and has characterized Banach-Stone maps T, as those isometric isomorphisms which take invertible elements to invertible elements or maximal ideals to maximal ideals etc. Later, we have relaxed the constraint of isometry on these maps [4] and in this paper, we characterize W-maps in terms of cozero sets and multiplicity. Incidentally we extend the results in ([1]).
